A Sino-foreign joint venture funded by Robina Wood (Hong Kong) and Shanghai Yongli Co., Ltd., Robina Wood Ltd. manufactures environment protection and high-class engineered solid wood flooring and laminate flooring. The sales network of the company is extended to all parts of China, Southeast Asia, and North America. It plans to develop 300 marketing network sites and establish a leading national wood brand within two years.

After careful model selection, Robina Wood joined hands with Kingdee to launch the information-based construction. On the basis of a full-scale application of the K/3 system,, a personalized sales business process was established by taking the advantage of the K/3 BOS system. The process strenuously supports the swift development of Robina Wood in the China market.

Personalized Management

Due to the diversity of product models, capricious changes in the consumer commodity market, and increasing shortage of raw materials, Robina Wood explicitly expresses the need of a change-sensitive ERP system.

Personalized Sales Business Process

Concerning export sales business, Performa Invoice, Customs Declaration, Packing List, Transport Information Feedback List and other documents are involved. Meanwhile, there are some industry features. To adapt to the domestic sales and export sales business of Robina Wood, a personalized export sales business process is required in addition to the standard sales process.

Solution

Targeting at the main problems, for example, reconciliation inaccuracy between the finance and the inventory, conflicts of the procurement, warehouse, and requirement department, and difficulty of cost accounting and statistical reports, Robina Wood activated an in-depth application of the K/3 system, effectively solving a variety of problems during its high-speed development.

At the same time, Robina Wood constructed a sales business system based on K/3 BOS according to its own characteristics, ensuring the standardization of logistical operations and nourishing a healthy increase of market sales.
