About TCL White Household Appliances

Founded in 1998, the TCL White Household Appliances Division is a large-scale household appliance manufacture and sales subsidiary of TCL Group, one of the top three of the Top 100 Chinese Electronic Enterprises. It is staffed with a team of over 3,000 employees and an independent and fully-fledged sales system with 26 provincial sales departments, 178 offices, and nearly 10,000 dealer network sites.
In 2003, the division launched the business process re-engineering of the national marketing network to establish a personalized marketing management and control system backed up by the Kingdee K/3 system. In particular, the personalized marketing management and control system focuses on the formulation and implementation of multi-price strategies.
Personalized Management

The household appliance industry in China is one of the fiercest industries in the country. Due to the unique price management methods of Business, a flexible and complex price control system should be adopted to properly address the marketing objectives.
Unified Price Strategy
The same product has different sales prices in different regions and for different customers. Due to the management requirements, the White Household Appliances Division has a wide array of price types, including channel price, regional price, exclusive price, Max. price, Min. price, rework product price, and price release. For the reasons afore-mentioned, it needs a system to unify and control the commodity sales prices, and implement the price strategies formulated by the headquarters.
Multi-Price Management Platform
To adapt deftly to the fierce market competition with the price lever, the TCL White Household Appliances Division implements a complex multi-level, three-dimensional price management mechanism by region, channel, and individual customer through the price management platform.
Solution
Since 2003, TCL have applied the Kingdee K/3 Sales and Distribution system to perform centralized management. In over 30 branches nationwide, the product sales and collection of the entire division can be queried in a timely and accurate manner through the K/3 system.
The powerful configuration function of the K/3 BOS platform provides a price management platform with up to nine strategies for TCL White Household Appliances. The price management function of the K/3 system can be adjusted at any time. As a result, the requirement on speedy response to market prices in the complex environment is effectively satisfied.
